Maury County doesn’t need more slogans. We need steady leadership, real experience, and practical solutions. As a Republican, a Maury County Commissioner, and a local business owner, I’ve focused on results, not rhetoric. I’ve been in the committee rooms, reviewed the data, asked the hard questions, and pushed for accountability long before final votes ever reached the floor. As Mayor, I will continue that work with one clear goal: putting people first while planning responsibly for the future of Maury County. Smart Growth and Long-Term Planning Growth is coming to Maury County whether we plan for it or not. The question is whether we manage it responsibly or let it manage us. I believe growth should pay for growth. That means thoughtful planning, honest conversations, and infrastructure decisions that protect existing residents while allowing our community to thrive. As Mayor, I will: Support intentional, well-planned growth Protect the rural character that makes Maury County special Push for data-driven decisions, not rushed approvals Ensure infrastructure keeps pace with development, not years behind it Water, Infrastructure, and Public Safety Water availability and infrastructure planning are among the most serious issues facing Maury County. We must be honest about capacity, future demand, and long-term solutions. Ignoring the problem or relying on short-term fixes only puts our families, businesses, and first responders at risk. As Mayor, I will: Advocate for long-term water planning and feasibility studies Demand transparency and accountability from water authorities Support infrastructure investments that are fiscally responsible Prioritize public safety in every growth and infrastructure decision Fiscal Responsibility and Taxpayer Protection Taxpayers deserve leadership that treats their money with respect. As a business owner, I understand budgets, cost control, and accountability. As a Commissioner, I’ve consistently supported careful review of spending and opposed wasteful or rushed decisions. As Mayor, I will: Protect taxpayers from unnecessary tax increases Demand clear justification for major expenditures Support responsible budgeting and long-term financial planning Ensure county government lives within its means Transparency and Accountable Government Too many decisions happen quietly, late in the process, or without meaningful public input. I believe citizens deserve to know what their government is doing before decisions are finalized, not after. As Mayor, I will: Push for better communication and transparency Encourage public engagement early in the decision-making process Support modern communication tools to keep residents informed Lead a government that is accessible, responsive, and accountable Supporting Local Business and Economic Opportunity Small businesses are the backbone of Maury County. As a local business owner, I know how regulations, fees, and delays impact real people and families. Government should be a partner, not an obstacle. Growth and progress do not require abandoning our values or our heritage. We can protect farmland, respect property rights, and still plan for the future. As a County Commissioner, I’ve shown up in committee meetings, asked tough questions, and worked through complex issues. As Mayor, I will bring that same work ethic and commitment every single day.
